THE POST PARTY
glow guide
By Alya, sweaty dancer, tequila girly, morning glow warrior
Let’s be real. Last night was chaos. There was glitter involved, someone cried in the bathroom (me), and at some point I used a micellar wipe and called it a routine. Now the sun’s out, I’m late for brunch, and my skin? It’s fighting for her life. But I’ve got a plan, and it starts now.

Step 1: Cool everything down
Your face, your energy, your regrets.
Start with a splash of cold water or — if you’re fancy — that chilled jelly cleanser waiting in your fridge (trust me, future you will thank you). It calms puffiness, resets your barrier, and makes you feel like a skincare influencer in recovery.
Tip: No harsh foams. You partied, not your skin barrier.
Step 2: Layer that hydration like it’s gossip
Start with a mist (the finer, the better), then press in a lightweight jelly cream that feels like a water balloon for your face.
You’re rebuilding bounce, baby.
Bonus points: Keep your cream cold = instant spa moment.
Step 3: SPF No matter what
Yes, you feel dehydrated. Yes, your eyes are tiny.
But no, we’re not skipping SPF.
The sun doesn’t care that you were out past midnight : protect your glow like it’s your last iced coffee on Earth.
Step 4: Internal glow-up (No, not juice cleanse style)
Water. Electrolytes. Anything green. Maybe a warm lemon tea if you're in your clean girl era.
Your skin isn’t just recovering from makeup, it's recovering from cocktails, sweat, dancing, and maybe falling asleep on someone else's pillowcase.
Step 5: Distraction tactics
If all else fails:
- Sunglasses
- Hair up
- One glowy product on the cheeks
- And that “what do you mean I’m tired?” attitude.
(hahaha)
